2007 Special Rules to ASA
Friday Night Fireman League Rules
1. This league will follow ASA rules with the exception to rule modification.
2. All parking must be in the grass behind left field.
3. No jewelry may be worn during the game other than a wedding band or a medical bracelet.
4. Bats must be ASA approved.
5. A 40 core yellow ball is to be used. 1 new ball to start and 1 for backup.
6. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
7. No pick up players are permitted this year. The player must be on your roster in order to play for you. If your team does not have enough players, you forfeit.
8. Plastic spikes or sneakers may be worn. No metal spikes are permitted.
9. The 10 run rule will be in effect after 5 innings.
10. The homerun rule this year will be the “1 up” rule.
11. Any player that is ejected must sit out the following game.
12. All pitches must be thrown 6-12’. All other pitches will be considered illegal.
13. Home team is responsible for bookkeeping.
14. Players must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to the start of the game.
15. Teams playing in the last game of the night are responsible for all clean-up of grounds; including bases, trash, and locking the bathrooms.
16. Players must sit on seat not the back of the bench.
17. If a game is interrupted by rain, fire calls, etc. before 5 complete innings, the game will be restarted.
18. League is open to both males and females.
19. DH may be used. The fielder may only play in field, and DH may only bat. DH must be announced prior to the start of the game.
20. THE UMPIRE HAS THE FINAL DECISION!!
